Minimum Time Between Events

Post by MRiddle »

I'm working on a crash where a 2017 Nissan Titan barely clips a vehicle that the driver is attempting to avoid, but shortly (very shortly) after clipping said vehicle (hard enough to trigger a non-deployment event), the Titan runs head-on into another vehicle. However, the CDR from the Titan only shows one event, which is indicative of the clipping and not the head-on collision.

Does anyone know how much time has to pass after an event before another event can be recorded? And are there any resources defining this parameter for a 2017 Nissan Titan?

Thanks in advance!
