Can you post a sanitized version of the report? That would help identify the problem. If the event record is complete, you don't have a power failure situation. The battery being disconnected following a crash won't do it either.

Nissan CDR reports will often report the Delta V in the wrong direction. Nissan is aware of this issue.

That model year Nissan cannot be imaged by the CDR Toolkit. It's too old.

In a crash, the collision force is equal and opposite (equal in force and in opposite directions). No one can tell by photographs which vehicle was moving and which was stationary. In a collision, the weaker structure suffers the most damage.
