Regarding a bicyclist's throw distance as sum of flight distance and sliding distance (into final rest position), could your blood splatter mark the POI of the cyclist after flight phase on the roadway? Spinning on a snowy surface may look like this (see attachment, own measurement data, engine rpm are just before the red zone). For clarification: the data are not EDR data (but ADR data). But they are comparable, because the source for "v-tacho" (speedometer) is also wheel speed.

Subaru EyeSight only records data, if the Pre-Collision Braking System is operated. The Pre-Collision Braking System is designed for avoiding mainly head-on rear-end collisions (with other cars).
